Karly Fish is an artist whose work is centered around the photographic medium, but welcomes elements of other mediums into her process.
She completed her undergraduate studies in Photography at Columbia College in December 2017. While Studying at Columbia, she also worked as an intern at the Museum of Contemporary Photography and focused on including fine art and poetry courses in her studies. As she continues as a working artist, she aims to exhibit and publish her work, as well as participate in the efforts of museums and other art-focused educational institutions.
Karly’s practice embraces the opportunity to explore varied styles and methods of expression, shaping her approach to reflect the complex physical and emotional aspects of personal experience. The majority of her work stresses the important role human fragility plays in relation to the perception of one's self, others, and the world. She is primarily interested in portraiture and self-portraiture.
