Dancer, Chorgeographer, Photographer

Annemarie Peterson is a currently a Senior at Columbia College Chicago. She was born and raised in a small town just outside of Chicago. Annemarie has been dancing since before she could walk, however, she started her training at the age of three. She has been a part of three dance studios that have transformed her into the dancer she is today. Most of her dance training was received at Dance Dimensions, a local studio dedicated to sharing the love of arts with their community. At this studio, Annemarie received intense training in many different techniques such as ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, contemporary, lyrical, and a little bit of hip-hop. Through this studio she took part in their competition team for six years, providing her with many amazing opportunities that really helped her grow as a dancer. In January 2011, Annemarie was one of a select few to have the privilege of dancing side by side the Goo Goo Dolls at the Orange Bowl. Currently, she has been dancing at the Joffery Ballet for the past three years.
