Emes Wolfe-Doblin

Musician and Music/Film Composer

My name is Emes Wolfe-Doblin, but I go by Kanoa and I am a senior a Columbia College Chicago. I have composed music for four films here at Columbia and one overseas during my time studying abroad in London, but I am ready to take on a few more films this semester. I am an avid Film Composer listener and enjoy listening to all kinds of film scores by Clint Mansell, John Williams, Howard Shore, Hans Zimmer and just recently Brian Tyler. I like to compose in the classical realm, but I have also begun to explore jazz and atonal musical writing.

Right now, I look forward to working with directors at Columbia or in the chicago area, whether in film or animation, helping to create the perfect music score to bring your project to it's final fruition. I also have a lot of experience with using the music program Logic as well as Protools so I can help with setting up any audio or recording session using these programs. I look forward to working with you in the future.

Here is a link to a recent film I did called "House on a Hill".
