Kelsey Liebich

Kelsey Liebich is currently a student at Columbia College and is planning on graduating summer semester 2012. Liebich is an assertive, ambitious, and compassionate young woman who is seeking a career in marketing communications with a concentration of advertising art direction after her final semester of school. Her attraction to marketing, design, and advertising is to identify the needs and create change or reinforce the perceptions of those external audiences. For Liebich, the process for identifying needs and changing perceptions are all related whether she uses design, marketing, or advertising strategies. Liebich is a Marketing Communications major with a concentration of advertising and is currently looking for job opportunities in her field. Her mission is to gain experience in the business world and have a better understanding of how to work as a professional with her coworkers and to ultimately succeed in her career. In addition, Liebich has done free lance artwork and is responsible for designing logos and various architectural designs for private investors. Showing a natural ability in art, she began her education looking for a fine arts degree in advertising art direction and is able to work with a variety of mixed media. Her present job includes many responsibilities such as communicating with clients wants and needs to help achieve success of their business. Liebich has channeled her creativity in not only company logo design, but also painting murals and private residences. Liebich has refined her communication skills through the art of sales, having achieved top sales status at Nordstrom. She has established herself as an energetic leader which will help her career further in life. Liebich attended Central High School in Burlington, Ill. She was in various sports such as golf club, soccer, snowboarding club, and art club. Liebich is also a certified lifeguard at Wing Park Family Aquatic center in Elgin, Ill, for the past six years. Her responsibilities include swim lessons for children and keeping a safe environment for all attendants. In the past, she was involved in her church's mission trips to help feed the homeless. Now, in her free time she helps collect donations for PAWS to keep animal shelters kill-free. Liebich grew up in Elgin, Ill. She now lives at home in Elgin with her mother and father and her three dogs. She is looking forward to using her artistic talents and ambitions toward an exciting career.
